Our Cub Pack is called "3rd Buxton (Harpur Hill) Cub Pack". Harpur Hill is on the south side of Buxton and situated in the Peak District. The Meeting Hall is not large but we have six sixes (Blue, RedYellowGreen, White & Black). We are a popular group and do have a waiting list.

Cubs come to this pack not just from Harpur Hill but many of the outlying villages as well, (Earl Sterndale, Sterndale Moor & Chelmorton to name but a few).

The pack undertakes a number of weekend activities including weekend camps, hikes, litter picks and other social activities such as bulb and tree planting.

Programming is based on a full terms programme being in hand at any one time. The packs records are kept on a computer based package designed especially for the Pack by our sponsors (Peakland Community Web Site). The package is called Cub Scout Leaders Assistant and knocks spots off anything else that we have looked at on the market.

The pack is just one section of the 3rd Buxton Scout Group. The group supports a Beaver colony the Cub Pack and a Scout troop.

We have a strong anti-bullying policy, we do not tolerate any form of bullying.

In accordance with Scouting Policy (Safe from Harm Guidance) individual children are not identified.
