What's On

We have attended a number of camps. We arrange them as indicated below but they only run if there is sufficient interest as these events can be time consuming to organise and costly if not supported.

Pack Cub Camp

Orchard Farm - We hold a weekend camp at Orchard Farm Campsite each term. We have a full weekend in the farmhouse. Click here to view pictures of our most recent trip.

3rd Buxton Cub Annual Camp

Linnet Clough - 3rd Buxton Cubs hold an annual camp at Linnet Clough Campsite. We usually go in September and have a full weekend under canvas. Click here to view pictures of our most recent one.

High Peak District Cub Camp

Wallaboree - Our Cub Pack is part of the High Peak District. Every other year a District Camp is held called Wallaboree. Click here to view pictures of our most recent one.

Peak Camp

Chatsworth  - Every five years the county hold a massive camp at Chatsworth Park, It is a beautiful setting in the grounds of Chatsworth House. The Camp lasts for a week. Click here to view pictures of our most recent one.

Centenary Camp (held every 100 years)

Linnet Clough - was the venue for our celebration of 100 years of Scouting (next time we might go to a different venue but it isn't planned yet (for some reason our Leaders say they have other things to be getting on with!) In May 2007 we descended on Linnet Clough and had a fantastic time tackling Scouting as it was 100 years ago, complete with Alarm call from a bugler and dressed in "old fashioned, hand made" uniforms.  Click here to view pictures of the Centenary Camp.

Gradbach - was the venue for our celebration of 100 years of Scouting in Harpur Hill. In June 2011 we camped inside at the Gradbach camp site and had loads of fun with lots of activities.  Click here to view pictures of the Centenary Camp for our Scout Group.
