Knowsley Safari Park

Buxton Cubs all joined together for a brilliant day out at Knowsley Safari Park It was the first time most of us had been but it won't be the last. We had a good trip round in our bus through the safari reserves, we were disappointed that the coach wasn't allowed to go through the monkey enclosure but there were enough monkeys on the coach to make up for it!

Here are a few of the animals that we saw, there were PeacocksA peacock and beavers (not would be cubs) there were Merecats      and Giraffes

and Elephants   Ponies Goats Some Fancy Chickens   and Pigs Ducks and Geese     They had a little train that ran around part of the park and some brilliant shows. We enjoyed the Bird Show   as well as the Sealions         We got to have a ride around the park in the coach, we took packed lunches, as cubs we ate sensible portions   but we did notice that some of the leaders had big butty boxes  In the afternoon we had a good walk around               The weather was brilliant and even the leaders wore a few inches off their waist lines!      A great trip, well organised and we all loved it. Would we go again?  YOU BET.
