The CD Challenge

Cubs made a model based on a CD (you know the sort that come through the post, unwanted and unused, but we made something with them) we were allowed to use anything else so long as it had been slung out from home and was rubbish (paper bottle tops, toilet roll middles etc). The cubs collected recyclable household waste (and swapped spare bits on Thursday nights) and a prize will be awarded at half term for the best made item. There were so many good ones that we awarded two prizes.

The top prize (a CD Player) went to the Statue of Liberty

The best runner up went to a silver robot

but there were many other really good models, some are shown below.
