Centenary Camp

Centenary Camp May 2007

We held our Centenary Camp from May 4th - May 7th at Linnet Clough Camp site. We have undertaken fundraising during the past year to ensure that we had enough canvas for all of the cubs to be able to camp.

In the months running up to the camp, we learn't a lot about Scouting's history. We researched what uniforms were like in the early days of Scouting and in the run up to camp we made our own that we wore whilst on camp.

Prior to camp we learn't about traditional Scouting methods and how they have changed over the years. During the camp we put into practice some of the old ways that we had learnt. A great camp was enjoyed by all, dressed traditionally. Pictures  available below are some from the camp.
