Personal Profile:
Currently a purveyor of fine cakes at the best cake shop in the county "Bun in the Oven" was first opened in 1992. It was a new venture for me as I had previously been employed in the catering industry, always in the kitchen. Mass catering held little interest for me and when the shop became available I purchased it with my husband Roland. Ro and I are both interested in the business but he runs his own deli called "Oven Fresh". I ran some sessions for the WI during the 90's and the cake section of the Village Fete has since become a hotly contested area.  These days I am asked to judge the competition which is no small undertaking as the competition is so fierce.
