| I came from Ascot, not far from the famous horse race course. Over the years I have trudged slowly up country and have been happy to retire here. I have adorned many gardens over the years but it wasn't until I came here that I felt truly happy. I enjoy a slow ploddy pace of life. I like anything that will curl up under me and if you spot me you will find I ride a snail. | |
| They stripped me down and cleaned me up and then fitted me out in the posh bib and tucker that I now wear. I get on well with the other gnomes here and we enjoy the clean air. | |
| I like a nice snooze and I certainly have managed to get one each day since I came to the retirement home. | |
